12-Week In-Season Baseball Training Program

In-Season Baseball Training ProgramIt’s the best time of year as the college and high school baseball seasons have thrown their first pitches, and ballplayers all over the country are stepping between the lines to play the best game in the world.  And while it’s exciting to finally compete on the ball field, many coaches and players struggle in trying to balance their strength & conditioning work with their practice and game schedule.

Well, I’m going to help you take out a lot of the guess work!

I was recently given the opportunity to create a 12-week in-season baseball training program over at BreakingMuscle.com.  I have touched on the subject of in-season training before, but the program that will be released on Breaking Muscle over the next 12 weeks is much more in-depth and will give you a very solid in-season baseball training program.

This 12-week cycle of workouts will help you maintain your off-season gains, maximize your recovery, and reduce your risk of injury so you can have your best season yet.  Here is the link to the introduction of the program:

If you make the jump over to the Breaking Muscle website and give the introduction a read, you will see that we will be breaking the baseball season into three phases with four weeks of programming in each phase.  Each week will have two distinct baseball workouts, and the Breaking Muscle staff will be releasing each new day on Wednesdays and Fridays.  Week one is already posted – here is Day 1 and Day 2.

I hope you take advantage of this excellent opportunity to learn how to structure an in-season baseball training program.  If you have any questions regarding this program at any time, please do not hesitate to send me your questions in the comments below or contact me using the contact page above!

Here’s to your best season yet!
